SUSPENSION OF ALL PROGRAMS AND CONGREGATIONAL DAILY SALAH INCLUDING SALAH AL-JUMU’AH
Based on recent developments regarding the Coronavirus pandemic and announcements by Public Health officials and various Islamic Councils, including the Canadian Council of Imams, Masjid al-Farooq is suspending all Programs and Congregation Daily Salah, including Salah al-Jumu’ah, effective at end of day tomorrow, March 17, 2020 until further notice. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated in this situation.
This is an extraordinary but necessary precaution to deal with an unprecedented situation and to help maintain the safety and well-being of our attendees and the community at large. This decision is based on, and supported by, sound rulings and evidence given in the Shari’ah as has been quoted by numerous Islamic authorities.
The Masjid administration is committed to taking care of the Masjid and continuing to provide whatever services we can in the meantime until the situation returns to normal with the Help of Allah. We will try our utmost to continue to be available by other means of communication such as by phone and email. IN SHAA ALLAH.
