Alhumdulillah, Masjid al-Farooq is very pleased to announce that we have bought the property directly adjacent and next door to the Masjid.

We can keep the momentum going to the next step of Phase 2 which is to get the Building Permit process started.Therefore, your help and support would be appreciated for the following, inshaAllah:

  1. Before Ramadan, we need to prepare the land to be suitable for parking – quotations are underway – estimated $50,000
  2. Before Ramadan, start drawings for building permit process - retainer $20,000
  3. Payoff our Qard Hasanah as soon as possible and start to accumulate funds for construction – over $1 million
  4. Need to pay for the parking lot paving completed 2 days ago - $20,000 (we have 1 week to pay, inshaAllah)
MASJID FAROOQ ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY DEGREE PROGRAMS
We are very pleased to announce that:

MASJID AL-FAROOQ will be offering ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY DEGREE PROGRAMS inshaAllah in partnership with the AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (AIU) a leader in distance learning / on-line Islamic Degree education. 

AIU has chosen Masjid al-Farooq to be its CANADIAN BRANCH & CAMPUS to offer Islamic Degrees at the Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. levels. 

All degree programs are available for study in English or Arabic.

Degrees will be awarded based on completing the required amount of credit hours like any university.

This will be a very comprehensive and systematic method of learning – just like going overseas to an Islamic University, inshaAllah.

Phase 2 Project Overview
Alhamdulillah, Phase 1 was completed on time with your support and Dua's. However, Phase 1 is already too small and we urgently need to expand, insha'allah.

Phase 2 is a 15,000 sq. ft. $6 Million expansion to add the following urgently needed facilities:

  • Parking Lot Expansion
  • Gymnasium
  • Classrooms (8+) for Full-Time School
  • Ghusl facility for Mayyit
  • Elevator & New Lobby
